Day 1: Kochi

On arrival at Kochi Airport, proceed for Immigration and Customs Clearances.  After clearing Customs, please collect your baggage and proceed towards arrival lounge and look for SKY VACATIONS representative, who will be holding the placard with your name on it. You will be met, assisted and thereafter transferred to your hotel by AC car. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. [Note: Immediate occupancy / early check-in will be subject to room availability of the day – Normal Check-in time: 1200 Noon]. Rest of the day is at leisure. Evening enjoy the Kathakali Dance show, incorporating elements of yoga and mythology. A unique dance which has a 2000 years old history with more than 100 different ‘mudras’ or gesture depicting deities, demon, heroes, heroines and kings – each based on episode from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, the two epic Indian myths. B

Day 2: Cochin / Kumarakom (Approx 2 hr drive)

Morning after breakfast, you will be met by SKY VACATIONS representative in the hotel lobby, later driven to Kumarakom to embark the overnight deluxe houseboat to enjoy the backwaters of Kerala. Houseboats are a unique way to experience the beauty of kaleidoscopic Kerala. Transportation of men and material using houseboats of Kerala is nothing new. The houseboats glide on the backwaters of Kerala, with a panoramic view passing by. Enjoy the freshly prepared seafood prepared on board. In the Evening, witness sunset through coconut palms. Dinner under million stars Sleep and dream with the pleasant roll of backwater. B L D

Day 3: Alleppey / Cochin (Approx 2 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, you will disembark the Houseboat at Alleppey around 10 AM and drive back to Kochi.  Later proceed for a half day guided city tour of Kochi. Visit Mattancherry Palace built by Portuguese in 1557 and presented to the Cochin Raja [King] Verra Kerala Varma as a gesture of goodwill.
The Dutch substantially renovated it after 1663 and hence it is also called Dutch Palace. Later proceed to St. Francis Church, India’s oldest European-built church. Vasco de Gama the first European to reach India by sailing around Africa died in Cochin 1524 and was buried here for 14 years before his remain were transferred to Lisbon in Portugal. His tombstone still stands at the original site. The Jewish Synagogue was constructed in 1568; this is the oldest synagogue in the region.  View the often-photographed Chinese Fishing Nets, showing the traditional methods of sea fishing. Amble along the spice markets to get a true feel for this rich-trading center dating back to the medieval times. Later SKY VACATIONS representative will assist you to transfer to airport to board your flight for onward destination. B
