Day 1: Arrive in Frankfurt

After touching down at Frankfurt airport, your private transfer / English-speaking driver will take you to Schlosshotel Kronberg. The remainder of your day is at leisure. 

Day 2: Schlosshotel Kronberg

After breakfast at your hotel its time to discover some of the best golfing experiences. Golfing at the Schlosshotel Kronberg stands for a special challenge to all ambitious golfers. This traditional 18-hole golf course is one of the best greens in the Taunus. The golf course has a handicap of 36 and is open from April to October. Included in the experience is:

 Day 3: Schlosshotel Kronberg to Frankfurt

After a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel, your private transfer to Frankfurt awaits you. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour of this magnificent city followed by some leisurely time to explore at your own place. 

Some of the sights you will see during the visit: 

  • City Hall: This former Patrician Villa, featuring a three-gabled Roof, has served as Frankfurt’s city hall since 1405. It continues to be the seat of the city’s Lord Mayor to this day.
  • The Main Tower: Designed by the architect’s office Schweger und Partner and completed in 2000, invites the general public to visit its rooftop observation platform, where they are met by a spectacular panoramic view of Frankfurt some 200 meters above the city streets.
  • Emperor’s Cathedral: With its 95 m high tower rising over Frankfurt city centre, the Cathedral (Dom) can be seen from afar.
  • Städel Museum: Established as a civic foundation in 1815 by the banker and businessman Johann Friedrich Städel, the Städel Museum ranks as Germany’s oldest museum foundation.
  • Pauls Church: Here the National Assembly created the first democratic constitution for Germany.
  • Goethe Museum and Goethe House: The Frankfurt Goethe House, birthplace of Germany´s most famous author and poet, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, was built in the typical 18th-century bourgeois style.
  • Eiserner Steg:This famous iron and concrete footbridge, crossed by over 10,000 pedestrians every day, connects the city centre and Römerberg with Sachsenhausen on the southern banks of the Main River.

Your guide will end the tour at the Kleinmarkthalle (if opened) where a great Food Experience awaits you: The market does offer traditional atmosphere combined with modern, international dishes. The market hall is definitely a culinary paradise with more than 156 market stalls and you will find all kinds of fresh food, produce and flowers. You can try many regional specialties for example the famous Frankfurt “Green Sauce”. There is one famous dish in Frankfurt that you really should try during your stay! Frankfurt Green Sauce is served cold over hard-boiled eggs and boiled potatoes. It is made from seven different kinds of herbs: borage, chervil, cress, parsley, salad burnet, sorrel and chives.

This morning you will be transferred to Frankfurt airport for your onward journey.
