The bustling Laad Bazaar, known for its traditional bangles and handicrafts, lies nearby in the old city.

This morning, we depart to explore the majestic Golconda Fort, one of India’s most impressive and storied citadels. Originally built in the 13th century and later expanded by the Qutb Shahi dynasty, the fort served as a powerful stronghold and was once famed as a global center for the diamond trade—including the legendary Koh-I-Noor.

An exclusive guided heritage walk takes us to the grand Fateh Darwaza (Victory Gate), where you’ll witness its remarkable acoustic design—a hand clap at the entrance can be heard atop the fort, nearly a kilometer away. As you ascend through intricate gateways, royal apartments, temples, mosques, and gardens, your guide will share tales of siege warfare, secret passages, and the grandeur of the Qutb Shahis. At the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Hyderabad and its surrounding landscape, a rewarding finale to this journey through history.

Just a short distance from Golconda Fort, visit the Qutb Shahi Tombs complex is one of the most beautifully preserved examples of Indo-Persian architecture in India. Set amid serene, landscaped gardens, these grand tombs are the final resting places of the rulers of the Qutb Shahi dynasty (1518–1687), who once ruled over the Golconda kingdom. After this exciting morning, we proceed to Rameshwaram Café for a quick lunch. Rameshwaram Café is a Bengaluru-born South‑Indian restaurant. This place offers authentic South Indian cuisine in a temple-themed setting and is known for buttery dosas, ghee podi idlis, and filter coffee.

Day 3: January 8, 2026 – Hyderabad

Today, enjoy an exclusive, curator-led tour of the Salar Jung Museum, one of India’s most remarkable repositories of art, antiquities, and global heritage. Located on the banks of the Musi River, this museum houses the personal collection of Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan (Salar Jung III)—a visionary collector from the Nizam’s court. Our private curator will guide you through the museum’s highlights, offering rare insights into over 40,000 artifacts spanning Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. This includes:The famous “Veiled Rebecca” sculpture from Italy, Tipu Sultan’s dagger and sword, the intricate double-faced wooden carving of Mephistopheles and Margaretta, a vast collection of Persian rugs, Mughal miniatures, rare manuscripts, European clocks, and Porcelain from China and Japan.

No visit to Hyderabad is complete without exploring the Charminar, the 16th-century architectural masterpiece that has come to symbolize the city itself. Built in 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the founder of Hyderabad, the Charminar was erected to commemorate the end of a deadly plague and mark the founding of the city. This graceful structure features four grand arches and towering minarets, each standing 56 meters tall. As you climb the spiral staircase inside, you’ll reach the upper floor with panoramic views of the old city—Laad Bazaar, the bustling Mecca Masjid, and the surrounding Indo-Islamic architecture. Located adjacent to Charminar, Mecca Masjid is one of the oldest and largest mosques in India, a symbol of Hyderabad’s spiritual and architectural grandeur. Commissioned in 1614 by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah and completed by Emperor Aurangzeb in 1694, the mosque derives its name from the bricks used in its central arch, which were made from soil brought from Mecca, Islam’s holiest city.

Architectural Highlights: Built from giant granite blocks, the mosque’s prayer hall can accommodate over 10,000 worshippers. Located just steps from the Charminar, Nimrah Café & Bakery is an unassuming but iconic destination where heritage, culture, and flavor converge. Founded in the 1990s, Nimrah has become a must-visit spot for Irani chai lovers and those seeking an authentic slice of old Hyderabad. Smell the fragrant cardamom, clove, and cinnamon; learn how tamarind, saffron, and stone flower (kalpasi)are used in Hyderabadi cooking: and discover rare ingredients like pathar ke phool and rose petals used in traditional dishes. Enjoy interactive moments with shopkeepers, spice tasters, and perhaps pick up a few hand-ground masalas as souvenirs.

This morning, we will be driven to the airport to board our flight for Chennai. On arrival at Chennai Airport, we will be met by our local representative who will assist with luggage and transfer to our hotel. Enjoy some leisure time on your own.

Later this afternoon we proceed for our tour of Chennai visiting Santhome Church (Santhome Cathedral Basilica), a stunning Gothic-style church built over the tomb of St. Thomas, one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus. The cathedral is not only a significant spiritual site but also an architectural gem, with its tall spires and serene atmosphere. We drive past Marina Beach and see Fort St. George, built by the British East India Company in 1644. We’ll also see the St. Mary’s Church and the Fort Museum, which offer deep insights into Chennai’s colonial era.

Our walking tour of George Town Market allows us to be immersed in the vibrant life of one of Chennai’s oldest and busiest marketplaces. Here, you can wander through narrow lanes filled with spices, sweets, garments, and local handicrafts. It’s a sensory overload with colorful stalls, the sounds of bargaining, and the rich aroma of spices. It’s an excellent opportunity to experience the authentic hustle and bustle of Chennai and shop for local goods. Don’t miss out on tasting street food like sundal (spicy chickpeas) and vada. We end our tour with a visit to the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, a striking Dravidian-style Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Admire the beautifully carved gopurams (towering entrance), intricate sculptures, and the serene temple pond before returning to the hotel, with time to unwind.

This morning, we enjoy a private tour of Dakshina Chitra Museum with a Cultural Curator. Dakshina Chitra, a history of living museum that beautifully showcases the rich cultural heritage of South India. This immersive experience will be guided by a cultural curator, who will walk us through the diverse traditions, architecture, and crafts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.

Highlights of the tour include traditional South Indian Architecture, authentic heritage homes, including Mangalore tiles, Tamil Nadu Chettinad architecture, and Kerala wooden homes, providing insights into the region’s diverse architectural styles. Art and Craft Exhibits: Discover local arts, crafts, and textiles, such as Tanjore paintings, Kalamkari (traditional painting), and intricate bronze sculptures, as you stroll through curated exhibits. This morning, we will be driven to the airport to board a flight for Cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, we will be met by our representative and assisted to our private vehicle for a scenic drive to Kumarakom (approx. 2.5 hours).

Nestled along the Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is a tranquil village in the heart of Kerala’s backwaters. It’s a perfect blend of nature and serenity, with a network of winding canals and lush landscapes. After check-in at our hotel in Kumarakom, the rest of the day is at leisure to unwind at the resort and enjoy the views of the serene backwaters. Enjoy optional spa therapies, Ayurvedic treatments, or participate in in-house cultural activities that you can arrange directly with the hotel staff.

We begin our day with a lovely visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a peaceful haven nestled along the banks of the Vembanad Lake. Spread over 14 acres of lush greenery, this sanctuary is a paradise for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts. Wander along the well-laid forest trails as you spot a variety of resident and migratory birds. From herons, egrets, kingfishers, and cuckoos to seasonal visitors like the Siberian crane, the sanctuary offers a captivating glimpse into Kerala’s rich avian diversity. The cool morning hours are ideal for birdwatching, with the serene backwaters providing a picturesque backdrop. Whether you’re an avid birder or simply seeking a quiet nature walk, this visit promises a tranquil and enriching experience.

At around 11 am proceed to the jetty of the hotel for a Luxury Houseboat Cruise with lunch gliding across the tranquil waters of Vembanad Lake—the longest lake in India. Cruise through Alleppey’s scenic network of canals, passing by lush paddy fields, coconut groves, and peaceful villages that capture the essence of Kerala’s backwaters.

Day 8: January 13, 2026 – Kumarakom – Cochin

This morning, we start our day with a village walk, Discover the soul of Kerala with our immersive village walk at Kumarakom Lake Resort. There’s no better way to embrace the charm of “God’s Own Country” than on foot—wandering through serene backwaters, lush paddy fields, and vibrant village lanes. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, these leisurely (about 3-hours and (approximately 5 km) walks reveal hidden gems, local stories, and the everyday beauty of village life. It’s an enriching experience that connects you to the land, its people, and their traditions in the most authentic way.

We return to the hotel for a delicious buffet lunch before being driven to Cochin for check in at our hotel.

Later this afternoon, we’ll proceed to Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair’s Kathakali Show known for presenting traditional Kathakali performances accompanied by live music, which enhances the dramatic storytelling.

We begin our exploration of Kochi with a visit to the Jewish Synagogue, in the historic Jewish Quarter, this synagogue, built in 1568. Next, we head to the nearby Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. Originally built by the Portuguese in 1557 and later renovated by the Dutch in 1663, the palace is an architectural gem showcasing the fascinating blend of European and Kerala-style influences. It houses beautiful murals depicting scenes from the Hindu epics, making it an important cultural landmark. From there, visit St. Francis Church, India’s oldest European-built church. This historical church, built by the Portuguese in 1503, is where Vasco da Gama, the first European to reach India by sailing around Africa, was buried after his death in 1524. His tombstone still stands in the church, offering a glimpse into Kochi’s colonial past. This tour will give you a fascinating overview of Kochi’s rich cultural heritage, blending Jewish, Portuguese, Dutch, and Indian influences.

This afternoon, we experience the authentic flavors of Kerala in an intimate setting with a cooking class at Padua House. Padua House , the  110 year old English Colonial Bungalow on Beach Road ,Fort Cochin.  The Syrian Matriarch of Padua House , Fort Cochin is no more but Her rich Legacy lives on -Thankamma V Job Variamparambil. Kochi, the Queen of Arabian Sea is a town shaped by the Portuguese, the Dutch and later by the British. Individuals or groups who visit Kochi can be part of this beautiful place. Your refreshment-inn here is the century old heritage house and the first British Bungalow in Fort Kochi. This 8000 sq. feet bungalow with a large front lawn carried a legacy of Thankamma V Job Variamparambil and her joint family. Here you will interact with the family members and get a touch and feel the experience of traditional values and family culture.

After the class, enjoy a delicious Kerala-style feast.

Later this afternoon, we witness one of Fort Kochi’s most iconic and photogenic sights — the Chinese Fishing Nets. These majestic structures, resembling oversized hammocks gracefully drooping over the water, have long been a symbol of the region and a major draw for visitors. Once purely a fishing tool, they are now a cultural landmark. Crafted from teak wood and bamboo poles, the nets operate on a simple yet fascinating balance-based mechanism. During your visit, observe the traditional fishing process—typically performed in the morning and early evening—where the nets are gently lowered into the water and raised with the help of large stone weights and pulleys. The slow, rhythmic movement of the nets, combined with the skilful balancing by local fishermen, offers a mesmerizing, almost meditative spectacle, especially for first-time viewers. This experience offers a unique glimpse into the region’s maritime heritage, blending age-old tradition with the scenic charm of coastal Kerala.

This evening dinner is served at the Terrace Grill Restaurant, Brunton Boatyard, one of Cochin’s most iconic heritage hotels. Situated overlooking the serene backwaters, this charming rooftop restaurant offers a delightful ambiance in and unforgettable setting, where you can enjoy the cool evening breeze and panoramic views of the water.

Day 10: January 15 Cochin – Bangalore

This morning we depart for the airport to board our flight for Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore Airport, we’ll be met by our Sky Vacations ambassador who will assist us with luggage and comfortably drive us to our hotel for check-in. 

This afternoon, immerse yourself in the world of art and culture with a private afternoon walk through of the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), one of the most prestigious museums in the region. This curated experience is designed to offer an in-depth exploration of the museum’s exquisite collection, led by a knowledgeable curator who will provide insightful commentary on the art, artists, and cultural context behind the exhibits. As you stroll through the galleries, you’ll encounter a diverse range of artwork, from contemporary Indian art to classical photography, as well as pieces that highlight the intersection of art and history. The curator’s insights will deepen your understanding of the narratives and creative processes behind each masterpiece, making the visit both educational and inspiring. This evening we dine at Karavalli, Vivanta Bengaluru. Experience the rich tapestry of coastal Indian cuisine at Karavalli, located within Vivanta Bengaluru, Residency Road. Since its inception in 1990, Karavalli has been celebrated for its authentic representation of the culinary traditions from the coastal regions of Kerala, Mangalore, Goa, and Karnataka . Designed to resemble a traditional Mangalorean bungalow, the restaurant is enveloped by lush greenery, offering a serene and intimate dining experience. The architecture and decor reflect the coastal heritage, providing a tranquil escape in the heart of Bengaluru.

Day 11: January 16, 2026 – Bangalore

After an early breakfast we will drive to Grover Zampa Vineyard (0830 hrs) at Nandi Hills for an immersive wine experience and tasting.  Nestled at the base of Nandi Hills, Grover Zampa’s 410-acre vineyard offers a serene and educational escape into the world of Indian winemaking. The guided tour provides visitors with a behind-the-scenes look at the entire journey of wine – from grape to glass. We shall conclude our tour with a tutored tasting of 6 wines and sample classics like Art Collection Sauvignon Blanc, La Réserve, and Vijay Amritraj Reserve. The tasting is paired with light snacks, and the sommelier guides you on identifying aromas, tasting notes, and food pairing.

Following our visit, we return to the hotel for a wonderful buffet lunch.

Later we will proceed for a tour of Bangalore city starting with a visit to the Bangalore Palace, a majestic reminder of the city’s royal past. Built in the Tudor style, the palace boasts intricate carvings, stained-glass windows, and a beautiful collection of artifacts. The lush gardens and opulent interiors offer a unique look at Bangalore’s royal heritage. Next, we head to Vidhana Soudha, the seat of the Karnataka Legislature. An iconic symbol of Bangalore, this grand building is a brilliant example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. Though you can’t enter the building (it’s a functioning government office), the exterior is stunning, and you can take a few moments to admire its grandeur. Visit the Bangalore Fort, a historic structure that dates to the 16th century. The fort has witnessed the city’s transformation from a sleepy town to a bustling metropolis. Nearby, you can explore Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an architectural gem built with teak wood and showcasing the grandeur of the Mysore Kingdom.

Take a short stroll or drive to Cubbon Park, an expansive green oasis in the heart of the city. The park is perfect for a leisurely walk or a brief stop to relax in nature. Surrounded by colonial buildings, this is a great spot to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty amidst the urban landscape.

For dinner, we’ll be dining at Kebabs & Kurries at ITC Gardenia — a true symphony of Indian fine dining. Curated by some of the country’s most celebrated chefs, the menu showcases an exquisite medley of aromatic curries and the finest kebabs Bengaluru has to offer.

This morning we’re driven to the airport to board our flight for Goa. Upon arrival at Goa Dabolim Airport, we’ll be met by our Sky Vacations ambassador who will assist us with luggage and drive us to our hotel for check-in.

Day 13: January 18, 2026 – Goa

This morning, we embark on a culinary journey through Goa alongside renowned Goan celebrity chef Avinash Martins, the creative force behind the acclaimed Cavatina Restaurant. This immersive experience begins with a visit to the bustling local fish market, where you’ll discover the wide variety of seafood that defines Goan cuisine. Stroll through the spice bazaar, filled with the heady aromas of cinnamon, black pepper, kokum, and dried chilies, and continue to the vibrant fruit and vegetable market, where seasonal produce adds color and flavor to the Goan plate. Chef Avinash will share insights on selecting the freshest ingredients and explain how they are used in traditional and modern Goan recipes—a rare opportunity to see Goa through a local chef’s lens.

Later, we set out for a cultural exploration of Old Goa, once the heart of Portuguese rule in India. Though brief, this tour is rich in history and architectural grandeur, offering a deep dive into the spiritual and colonial legacy of Goa. Basilica of Bom Jesus, A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Baroque-style church, built in 1605, is one of the most important Christian landmarks in Asia .It houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, preserved in a silver casket. The interiors are richly decorated, featuring gilded altars and intricate wood carvings that reflect the deep devotion and artistry of the era. Sé Cathedral, located across from the Basilica, this is one of the largest churches in Asia. Dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, it took over 80 years to complete. Don’t miss the Golden Bell, considered one of the finest church bells in the world for its tone. The church’s white façade and Tuscan-style interiors exude a quiet grandeur. We’ll see the Church of St. Cajetan (Optional if time permits) – Modeled after St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, with Corinthian columns and a beautifully domed interior. The serene atmosphere and lesser crowd make it a hidden gem among Old Goa’s landmarks.

This Evening a truly interactive dining experience at Cavatina’s, one of India’s most innovative restaurants tucked away in South Goa. Known for its inventive approach, Chef Avinash Martins crafts a dining experience that is not only about food but about connecting with the process. This unique experience builds on the ingredients you selected earlier in the day at the local markets with Chef Avinash. Day 14: January 19, 2026 – Goa

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel to fuel up for the exciting day ahead. We begin with a spirit making tour (Cashew and Coconut Feni) . Walk through the farm and distillery where you’ll experience the production process of Cashew and Coconut Feni, followed by a Feni Tasting & Masterclass. Taste the finest blends of cashew and coconut Feni, and learn about the craft from Hansel Vaz, owner of the world renowned Cazulo Premium Feni brand. He will take you through a personal masterclass in Feni appreciation, explaining the history, flavors, and processes. Also, participate in a cocktail mixing session with Karl Fernandes, the master mixologist (former Diageo), and learn how to craft cocktails with Feni.

For lunch, enjoy an authentic Goan meal (not ‘thali’) while live classical music enhances the atmosphere. After a full day, receive your official Cazulo Premium Feni certificate, becoming an official Feni aficionado.

After lunch we return to the hotel / relax on the beaches of Goa.

This evening dinner is served at Colonial Mansion (Figueiredo Mansion). Built in 1590, we’ll enjoy an unforgettable dinner in a beautiful, historic setting. We’ve arranged a tour the mansion with its Indo-Portuguese architecture, stands in contrast to the lush natural beauty surrounding it. Take some time to admire the interior and surroundings before dinner. Indo-Portuguese Cuisine: Enjoy a meal prepared with rare Indo-Portuguese recipes that have been passed down through generations of the Figueiredo family. As you dine, enjoy the ambiance created by live Goan music, immersing yourself further in the culture.

You’ll be transferred from the hotel to the Goa airport for your departing flight.
