DAY 1 – Welcome
Your Sky Vacations Bike Leader will greet you at the reception of Masseria San Domenico to welcome you and go over the training program to get you prepared for the trip. It will be a perfect occasion to get to know each other and customize the activity sessions.
DAY 2 – Biking experience on the Apulian roads
After breakfast travel to Figazzano, a village nearby Cisternino.
We will go through the Valle d’Itria along the cycling route of Acquedotto Pugliese. The landscape here is characterized by valleys and hills, Trulli, traditional farmhouses, oak woods and typical Mediterranean shrubland. We are in between the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea. Along the route, enjoy a break in a deli where we will enjoy an Apulian style aperitif based on local products.
DAY 3 – Day at leisure
Today your day is at leisure to relax, unwind or perhaps enjoy a local experience by yourself or other fellow travelers.
DAY 4 – Bike Experience: “Riserva di Torre Guaceto”
After breakfast we’ll travel to Torre Guaceto to discover national natural Reserve by bike. Then we will walk along the protected seashore area, and we will go through the dense Mediterranean shrubland, precious custodian of the biodiversity. An occasion to enjoy the protected area from an active and sustainable point of view. Finally, in the shade of olive trees, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic and taste a selection of local culinary excellencies.
DAY 5 – Farewell
It’s time to say goodbye or au revoir . After breakfast its time to checkout and continue for your onward journey. Until the next time in Apulia.
