Day 1,Naples to Minori

Arrival at Naples Airport. Meet your tour escort and transfer by private bus to Minori. This village is tucked into the delightful Amalfi Coast. You'll fall in love with its hillside houses along the sea, its many lemon groves cultivated on terraces, and the Chiunzi Pass. Minori is just down the coast from Amalfi which was once a powerful Maritime Republic. In fact, some of today’s Maritime Laws are attributed to this small town. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel where you'll get your first delicious taste of mouth-watering Italian cuisine. Overnight in hotel. (D)

Day 2,Minori – Ravello – Positano – Minori

After breakfast, your guide will take you on a drive along the Amalfi coast. Each turn reveals a dazzling view of the sea and villas that seem to hang off the rocky coastline. Continue to Ravello where we'll visit Villa Rufolo, which gave Richard Wagner inspiration for one of his most famous works. Return to Amalfi and take an informative tour on limoncello. Visit a lemon grove, learn how to make it, and taste a glass of this delicate liqueur. Aftewards, enjoy a meal featuring Amalfi lemons in every course! Overnight in Amalfi. (B, L, D)

Day 3,Minori – Pompeii – Caserta – Minori

After breakfast, depart for Pompeii. Visit of the most important and interesting archaeological museums in the world. This famous ancient city, buried by the ashes of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD, is a remarkable site known for its colorful paintings and humans who seem to be frozen in time. Lunch in local restaurant. After lunch departure for Caserta. With our local guide, we will visit the beautiful Reggia Vanvitellianam, ‘The Versailles of Campania,' where we will view magnificently decorated apartments and spend some time in the majestic gardens. Return to Minori. Dinner at hotel. Overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 4,Minori – Capri – Minori

After breakfast, transfer to the pier and depart by hydrofoil to Capri where we'll discover its charming secrets. Due to its beauty, the Roman Emperor Tiberius lived on this island for 10 years. With a local guide, you will take a tour that includes a visit to the wonderful Marina Piccola; Piazza Umberto I, a small, closed off square resembling a courtyard; and the gardens of Augusto built on the ruins of ancient Roman structures. Lunch in local restaurant. Return to Minori. Dinner at hotel. Overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 5,Minori – Sorrento – Minori

Today we'll have a nice morning in Sorrento which boasts an exquisite climate, beautiful beaches, trendy shops and boutiques, museums, and galleries. We'll visit a local wine cellar for a short tour, wine tasting, food sampling, and a factory which produces the traditional Baba rum cake dessert – a Neapolitan classic. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Amalfi Dome, devoted to the Apostle St. Andrew, whose relics are in the church. This building contains several artistic influences including Byzantine, Islamic, Baroque, and Arabian. Dinner at hotel. Presentation of Neapolitan “Baba” deserts with tasting. Overnight. (B, D)

Day 6,Minori – Paestum – Minori

After breakfast transfer to Paestum. The main draw of Paestum are the fully intact temples. The zone of the Magna Grecia, "greater Greece," starts here. Paestum started out as a Greek settlement named Poseidonia. The Romans named it Paestum. The site features three major temples in Doric style, dating from the first half of the 6th century BC., dedicated to Hera and Athena. Lunch in local restaurant. Return to Minori. Gala dinner with Neapolitan music. Overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 7,Minori – Rome

After breakfast, check out of hotel and transfer to the hotel in Rome. The remainder of day at leisure. Overnight. (B)

Day 8,Rome

Today is a full day of leisure to explore the Eternal City or join optional tours. Overnight. (B)

Day 9,Rome

Wake up in the Eternal City, a center of Western Civilization. In the morning we'll go to Vatican City to visit the Vatican Museums' hundreds of galleries. We'll cover The Tapestry Gallery; The Raphael Rooms; the Sistine Chapel, and more. Later, visit St. Peter's Basilica, built on the site where St. Peter was martyred. Take in the Pieta, Bernini's bronze canopy, and the grave of Pope John Paul II. Before dinner, we'll have some leisure time to explores, shop, or just to sit in one of the outside cafes and people watch. Tonight will be your special farewell dinner. Overnight. (B, D)

Day 10,Rome

After breakfast, transfer to Rome airport. (B)
