Day 1: Welcome to Delhi – India’s Bustling Capital

Upon arrival in Delhi, India’s lively and history-rich capital, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind after your journey. Whether you choose to relax at your hotel or venture out to explore the city’s bustling streets, vibrant markets, and historic landmarks, your adventure in India has pleasantly begun.

Day 2: Exploring Old & New Delhi – A Journey Through Time (B, D)

Wake up to the sounds of Delhi and enjoy a delicious breakfast before setting out on an immersive city tour.

Begin in Old Delhi, where history whispers through its narrow lanes. Visit Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Next, experience the sensory overload of Chandni Chowk, Delhi’s oldest market, on a thrilling rickshaw ride. Navigate through spice bazaars, fabric stalls, and street food vendors offering delicious local delicacies. Continue to Gandhi Smriti Museum, the final residence of Mahatma Gandhi, where exhibits offer an intimate glimpse into his life and philosophies. Then, visit the Gurudwara Shri Bangla Sahib, a serene Sikh temple with its holy pond, where volunteers prepare and serve free meals to thousands every day.

In the afternoon, shift gears to New Delhi, where colonial grandeur meets modernity. Explore Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO-listed architectural wonder that inspired the Taj Mahal. Conclude the day with a welcome dinner, where you’ll enjoy a spread of authentic North Indian cuisine, setting the tone for the culinary delights that await.

Day 3: Agra – The City of Eternal Love (B)

Board an early morning train to Agra, home to one of the world’s most iconic monuments. Upon arrival, visit the Agra Fort, a grand Mughal fortress that once housed emperors. Its towering walls and intricate marble halls tell the tale of India’s royal past.

Later, check into your hotel and prepare for an unforgettable sunset visit to the Taj Mahal. As the sun dips below the horizon, its golden hues bathe the ivory-white marble in an ethereal glow. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a masterpiece of love and craftsmanship, leaving every visitor spellbound.

Day 4: Sunrise at the Taj & Journey to Ranthambore – Into the Wild (B, L, D)

Mehtab Bagh, also known as the Moonlight Garden, is located next to the Taj Mahal. This stunning garden offers a perfect spot to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal at sunrise without the usual crowds. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Ranthambore National Park, a premier tiger reserve. En route, visit the Abhaneri Stepwells, a staggering feat of ancient engineering, and the Harshat Mata Temple, adorned with exquisite carvings. Enjoy a farm-fresh organic lunch at Umaid Palace, where Rajasthan’s royal flavors come to life. Upon arrival in Ranthambore, check into your jungle lodge and attend a Tiger Talk, where conservationists share insights about the park’s thriving wildlife, including the elusive Bengal tiger. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Day 5: Ranthambore – Safari Adventures in the Jungle (B, L, D)

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and set off on a Canter Safari, where you’ll venture deep into the forest to spot wildlife at its most active hours. Keep your eyes peeled for tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and exotic birds. Return for breakfast and enjoy a leisurely afternoon before heading out for another thrilling afternoon safari. Day 6: Rural Rajasthan & The Pink City of Jaipur (B, L)

After breakfast, visit a local village and school, where you’ll get a firsthand look at rural Rajasthani life. Engage with villagers and learn about their traditional crafts and way of life. After lunch, drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and a city bursting with royal grandeur. Upon arrival, the evening is at your leisure, or you may choose to join an optional cultural tour:

Once the royal residence of Jaipur’s rulers, the fort’s grandeur is unparalleled. Continue to Jaipur’s most famous landmarks, including the City Palace, the astronomical wonder of Jantar Mantar, and the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). In the evening, experience an unforgettable cooking session and dinner with a local family. Learn about the secret home recipes and culture over an exclusive time booked with your host for lunch or dinner. From their secret ancestral/family recipes to culinary techniques that are age-old and time-tested and ingredients that are good for your health, your host will tell you everything about the specialty of Jaipuri cooking art and other facets of an Indian lifestyle. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to make a complete Indian meal with your host. It is not only about learning how to make delicious Indian food, it’s also an unforgettable communal lunch/dinner experience in an Indian home.

Day 8: Journey to Jodhpur – The Blue City (B)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Jodhpur, the “Blue City” known for its striking indigo-colored houses. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this desert city.

Day 9: Jodhpur’s Majestic Fortresses & Markets (B)

Explore the Mehrangarh Fort, an awe-inspiring stronghold that offers panoramic views of Jodhpur’s blue rooftops. Visit the Jaswant Thada, a serene marble cenotaph, and the Umaid Bhawan Museum, housed in one of the largest royal residences in the world. Opt for an optional walking tour through the winding lanes of the Blue City:

On this carefully designed Walking Tour, you will plunge deep into the traditions and cultural riches of Jodhpur to discover the lesser-known treasures of this enchanting city. Day 10: Village Safari & Deogarh’s Timeless Charm (B)

Start your morning with a Bishnoi village safari, where you’ll experience Rajasthan’s traditional lifestyle. Then, visit the Jain Temples of Ranakpur, an architectural wonder with intricately carved marble pillars. Continue to Deogarh, a heritage town steeped in history, and enjoy a guided walk through its ancient streets.

Day 11: Udaipur – The Venice of the East (B)

Drive to Udaipur, one of India’s most picturesque cities. In the evening, glide across Lake Pichola on a boat ride, marveling at the illuminated palaces and ghats along the shoreline.

Day 12: Udaipur’s Royal Heritage & Farewell Celebration (B, L, D)

Spend the day exploring Udaipur’s grandeur—visit the City Palace, the Jagdish Temple, and the lush Saheliyon Ki Bari gardens. Enjoy a traditional Thali lunch before visiting the Vintage Car Museum, home to rare automobiles from the Maharajas’ collection. This evening, celebrate your journey with a farewell dinner overlooking Lake Pichola, where the shimmering waters reflect the grandeur of Rajasthan’s regal past.

Optional Activity:

Udaipur by Bicycle

We start from the picturesque Fateh Sagar Lake breathing in the fresh mooring air, as a gentle breeze stirs the water burnished golden by the sunlight. We ride through colorful narrow lanes of the city past other lakes along the way. Pedaling on we come upon Shilpgram (handicraft village), a village cooperative for the tribal and rural artisans to showcase their art and where they can sell directly to customers. As we ride through the village of handicrafts notice the beautiful paintings illustrating the exterior walls of the homes of the villagers. Moving on we proceed towards the Badi Lake; this part of the ride is a little steep and has some switchbacks too, so keep alert. Riding through tranquil country roads, crossing several seasonal waterfalls, we finally reach the lake. Re-energize with light refreshments at the serene lake. It’s an excellent opportunity for some memorable photos. We will ride back to the city by another route which takes us through some resplendent forest tracts, past some villages, delighting in the calm and beauty of these rich forested environs.

Day 13: Farewell India – Until We Meet Again! (B)

Begin the day with a yoga session, embracing the serenity of Udaipur. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Delhi, where you’ll connect with your onward journey.
