Day 1: Arrive in Lima

Welcome to Peru, Land of the Incas. Upon arrival you will be met by our Sky Vacations ambassador and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Lima

Today explore the historical site of Huaca Pucllana. Enjoy haute cuisine at the site’s restaurant while taking in 1500-year-old views. After lunch, get to know downtown Lima with its colonial heart and the famed Larco Museum. Housed in an elegant mansion, the museum hosts the world’s largest private collection of Pre-Colombian art.

Day 3: Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco and private transfer to the Sacred Valley. Visit the traditional indigenous market of Pisac and explore Ollantaytambo, the last stand of the Incas in their defense against the Spanish conquerors. This evening, overnight in a tranquil and luxurious hideaway.

Day 4: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu

All aboard your luxury train for Machu Picchu. Here you’ll visit the famous Inca citadel. After exploring one of the most breathtaking places on earth, you’ll head to your hotel where tea and dinner will be served.

Day 5: Machu Picchu – Cusco

If you’re an early riser, make sure to get to the citadel where you will see the sunrise over Machu Picchu. The rest of the morning is at leisure. This afternoon enjoy lunch before heading to Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco

Enjoy a walking tour of Cusco and its bohemian district San Blas. Take in the colonial and Inca sites in this cultural mélange. Then explore the Coricancha Temple as well as the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, one of the best examples of Incan construction techniques. Wrap up the day with à la carte dining at the elegant MAP Café.  

Day 7: Cusco

A full day on your own. You may want to visit a local farmer’s market or stroll through the city’s colonial streets.

Day 8: Cusco – Lima

Today you’re transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima and connection for your onward journey.
